Casa Bucalo Taormina Apartment

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Bucalo in Taormina. The view from every window was amazing, allowing me to see the sea and enjoy the morning sun. The rooftop terrace was the highlight, where I could sunbathe and take in the fine views of the historic town and waterfront. The terrace even had a small pool, a welcome oasis on hot days. The location of the apartment was perfect, just off the Corsa Umberto, with everything within walking distance, including the cable car to Isola Bella. The apartment itself felt homely and had a great selection of books and films to keep me entertained. The bathroom was functional and clean, and the kitchen gave me a real sense of being in Sicily with its antique feel. The hosts were friendly and easy to contact if I had any questions or issues. I highly recommend Casa Bucalo for a nice stay in Taormina.

This apartment exceeded my expectations in every way. The host, Antonio, was incredibly attentive and made me feel safe and well taken care of throughout my stay. The apartment itself was absolutely beautiful and clean, with a lovely roof terrace that offered stunning views. The swimming pool was well maintained, and I enjoyed spending time relaxing there. The highlight of my stay was being invited to a Mexican themed party at a friend's house by the host, which turned out to be a fantastic night. I couldn't have asked for a better end to my trip as a solo traveler.

I felt right at home during my stay at this apartment and honestly couldn't find any reason to complain.

Airport close enough to guarantee a thrilling taxi ride with a driver who thinks he's auditioning for Fast & Furious. Isola Bella, well, it's so far away it might as well be on Mars!

Oh, I loved the challenge of guessing what the "similar apartment" actually meant. Makes me feel like a psychic detective.

The hosts were awesome! They gave us great recommendations for restaurants and attractions. The property was really spacious and had an amazing rooftop deck and pool. Plus, it was just one street away from the main area, so we were close to all the action but still felt like we could relax away from the crowds.

We had booked a larger apartment with two rooms and two bedrooms, but when we arrived, we were given a smaller apartment on the ground floor. The kitchenware was limited, the coffee machine leaked, and the AC didn't work properly.

Excellent location, clean and well-sized apartment, well equipped, efficient air conditioning, fine views from the roof terrace, cute owners with lots of advice.

The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient to explore the city on foot. It is just minutes away from the main street and the cable car to the beaches, allowing for easy access to attractions. The rooms are comfortable with cozy beds and the bathrooms are functional and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the daily cleaning service is a nice touch. The terrace offers stunning views of the sea and Etna, creating a relaxing and picturesque environment.

There were some minor issues with the kitchen facilities, such as limited kitchenware and a faulty coffee machine.
